Organic Alfalfa Microgreen Seeds

From £1.79

Alfalfa is one of the healthiest microgreens you can eat. It is fast and easy to grow and has a great versatile flavour, making it one of our favourites complementing any contemporary or traditional meal. Organic Alfalfa microgreens are also popular in salads, soups and sandwiches. They are extremely nutrient-dense, packed with Vitamins E, C and K, as well as minerals such as iron, copper, magnesium, sulphur, potassium, folate and silicone. Whilst this alone is impressive, it is Alfalfa's sheer content of bioactive plant compounds and phytochemicals, saponins, coumarins, flavonoids, phytosterols, phytoestrogens and alkaloids which earns its title. After all, the word Alfalfa originates from the Arabic phrase, al-fac-facah, meaning “father of all foods.”
