Lion’s Mane Liquid Culture – 10 ml Sterile Syringe

Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus) forms snow‑white cascading spines and a soft, seafood‑like texture that cooks well in slices or “steaks.” It’s widely grown for both gourmet use and its long‑studied functional interest.
About This Culture
This 10 ml syringe contains actively growing Lion’s Mane mycelium suspended in a nutrient broth. Produced under sterile workflow, intended for direct inoculation of grain jars or bags, agar expansion, or liquid‑to‑liquid transfers in clean setups.

- 1 × 10 ml Lion’s Mane liquid culture syringe
- 1 × sterile needle
- 1 × alcohol wipe
Use
- Shake to re‑suspend mycelium.
- Sanitise injection point (grain bag port or jar lid) with the alcohol wipe.
- Attach sterile needle. Flame if reusing outside clean air.
- Inject 1–2 ml per grain jar or ~3–5 ml per 1 kg grain bag (adjust to workflow and cleanliness).
- Incubate grain at 21–24 °C until fully colonised. Shake once at 30–50% if desired.
- Spawn colonised grain to hardwood sawdust or supplemented blends (e.g., Master’s Mix) at ~10–20% spawn rate.
Note: Lion’s Mane prefers wood‑based substrates over straw‑heavy mixes.
Storage
Store refrigerated at 2–6 °C on arrival. Best used within 2–3 weeks for peak vigour; often remains usable up to ~2 months if kept cold and unopened. Do not freeze.
Batch Notes
- Visually checked for clarity and mycelial activity before dispatch.
- Shake before drawing a test drop to agar if you wish to confirm purity.
- Light sediment is normal; floc breaks on agitation.

Delivery and Packaging
All products are packaged plastic free as standard. Your garden seeds are sealed for freshness inside white glassine envelopes which are a water/vapour resistant compostable paper product whilst your Microgreen and Sprouting Seeds arrive in resealable zip lock pouches made from GMO free vegetable starch which are further heat sealed to ensure these great products reach you safely!

My product is damaged defective or you shipped me the wrong product.
We're sorry about that and understand your frustration! We would love to offer you a refund or a replacement. Please contact us at hi@growsowgreener.co.uk within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or replacement.
I ordered the wrong product or simply changed my mind.
No worries, we will refund you the full amount (minus the shipping charges) provided the items are returned in new condition and in original packaging. Once received we will issue your refund however you will be responsible for return shipping costs for non defective products.
