Organic Garlic Chive seeds produce an easy to grow perennial cut and come again crop which deserves its place in any garden...indoor or out. Its thin flat leaves have a delicate garlic flavour and in the second year produce pretty white edible flowers which are also an ideal attractant to beneficial insects.
Also widely grown indoors as a microgreen under LED lights or a sunny windowsill, garlic chives make a great culinary herb.
Our Organic Garlic Chive Seeds are GMO-free and packaged plastic free, helping you to grow only the most delicious organic garlic chive plants.
Different to onion chives in both appearance and flavour, garlic chives make an excellent addition to any herb garden, border and indoor grow. Sow your garlic chive seeds in small clumps at a spacing of 30cms and harvest as you see fit through out the summer and autumn months, just cut a few centimetres above ground so they can regrow. Delicious and delicate!

How to grow Organic Garlic Chives from seed
You can grow your organic garlic chives indoors or out. They make a very popular microgreen when grown in shallow trays under LED lights or on a sunny windowsill, harvesting when 10 -15cm tall.
Outside plant your seeds in clumps or clusters with around 20 to 30 cm space between. Alternatively interplant them around the veg patch and boarders.
What to feed your Garlic Chive Plants
Any well rounded organic fertiliser such as grow sow greeners' "sea fert" will have them growing and thriving all season.
Keeping pests away.
Not a massive issue for garlic chives however can be impacted by early season aphids or thrips....... nothing a good jet of water from the hose pipe cant solve easily.

Delivery and Packaging
All products are packaged plastic free as standard. Your garden seeds are sealed for freshness inside white glassine envelopes which are a water/vapour resistant compostable paper product whilst your Microgreen and Sprouting Seeds arrive in resealable zip lock pouches made from GMO free vegetable starch which are further heat sealed to ensure these great products reach you safely!

My product is damaged defective or you shipped me the wrong product.
We're sorry about that and understand your frustration! We would love to offer you a refund or a replacement. Please contact us at hi@growsowgreener.co.uk within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or replacement.
I ordered the wrong product or simply changed my mind.
No worries, we will refund you the full amount (minus the shipping charges) provided the items are returned in new condition and in original packaging. Once received we will issue your refund however you will be responsible for return shipping costs for non defective products.
